Apple Festival
The band's annual Apple Festival is held on the first Sunday of October on Monument Square in the center of Hollis, NH It is cosponsored by the band and the Hollis Brookline Junior Cavaliers. In the event of rain the Apple Festival is held inside Hollis Brookline Middle School.
The band program consists of a variety of marches, symphonic pieces, and popular music - admission is free.
Available for purchase are home-made apple pies (baked by band members and members of the Hollis Woman's Club), home-made apple crisp, and Doc Davis Ice Cream.
In addition to the concert, apple pie and crisp, there is a face-painting table and other activities for young and old.
A raffle will be held for various prizes, including the ever-popular chance to conduct the band in "The Stars and Stripes Forever".
